Everything you need to get the most out of Push Up Reps — and a direct line to us if something's not working.
The app runs entirely on your Watch — no iPhone needed during your workout.
Select "Log to Health", if you'd like to track it as a Fitness workout, before you start!
Hit the start button, then get into position. The app begins listening for reps immediately.
Each detected push-up triggers an audio confirmation. If you hear it, it counted.
Tap to finish when you're done. Your session total gets added to your daily, weekly, and all-time stats — and compared against your high score.
Make sure your Apple Watch is snug on your wrist and that you're doing full-range push-ups — wrist fully down, then fully extended. Very slow or partial reps may not register. Try a few deliberate reps to calibrate.
Either wrist works. If you're having detection issues, check that your Watch's wrist setting in the Apple Watch app matches how you're wearing it.
Yes — Push Up Reps runs fully on Apple Watch. Your iPhone doesn't need to be present during a session.
Your high score is the most reps you've completed in a single session. Every new session is a chance to beat it.
Daily totals reset at midnight. Weekly totals reset at the start of each week. Your all-time total and high score never reset unless you delete the app.
At the end of your session, you'll be prompted with the option to log it as an Apple Health workout. Make sure Push Up Reps has Health permissions enabled in Settings → Privacy → Health on your iPhone.
